Halla Visteon Climate Control Corp was founded on March 11, 1986 as a joint venture between the Ford Motor Company and Mando Machinery Co., the predecessor of Mando Corp. It was spun off from Ford Motor in 1999 and HCC’s majority shareholder is Visteon of the United States.

Visteon announced an offer for Halla Climate Control in 2012, valuing the company at $800 million.

HVCC employs around 15,500 people at 35 manufacturing facilities and 4 R&D centres across the globe.
